Connecting in Small Groups
What Happens in a Small Group?
Small groups are the best place to grow in our relationship with Christ, our relationships with each other, and in our care for this world. Our small groups are a place where four things happen:
1. They are a place where we connect with others and make new friends.
2. They are a place where we grow in our intimacy with Jesus and learn how to follow him.
3. They are a place where we can pray for, encourage one another, and build each other up spiritually.
4. They are a place where we can serve the needs around us together.
How MCF Small Groups Run
Our small groups do not run indefinitely. When you sign up for a small group, you sign up for a trimester (10-12 week terms). We then take a month off and give everyone a chance to sign up for the next term. Here is our small group calendar:
Break Month/Sign-ups (January)
Trimester 1 (February - April)
Break Month/Sign-ups (May)
Trimester 2 (June - August)
Break Month/Sign-ups (September)
Trimester 3 (October - December)
