A Prayer
Be my light in the darkness, O Lord, and in your
great mercy defend me from all hardships and dangers of this night; for the
love of your only Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
A Prayer for Saturday Night
I give thanks, O God, for revealing your Son
Jesus Christ to me by the light of His resurrection: Help me to praise your
glory at the close of this day, and that my joy may overflow in the morning as
I celebrate with my brothers and sisters the mystery Your Son’s death and
resurrection; through Him who is my Lord. Amen.
